McKendree-Maryville Dual Results

In the first of back-to-back dual meets, the Maryville wrestling team fell just short Tuesday, Feb. 7, at McKendree. The Bearcats narrowly edged the Saints 24-23. Maryville returns home Wednesday and hosts Indianapolis in a 7 p.m. meet at Moloney Arena.
 
Keenan Hagerty took the first contested match in the 149-pound class and downed Devon Patterson 20-5 by tech fall. Joey Moorhouse edged Josh Ballard in the 157-pound division. Maryville’s Matt Baker and Kyle Reid went into extra time before Reid picked up one point for the victory.
