After Jared Green reached on an error, Kyle Kinyon plated two runs with a single. Aaron Asher’s hit drove in another run, and a sac fly by Colby White handed Maryville a 4-0 lead. Brett Grempler worked four innings to pick up the win, while Shane Herschelman and Matt Staback did not allow a hit over the last three frames.

In the second game, the Saint erupted for a season-high in runs as they pounded out 22 hits. Maryville roared out on top early with four runs in the second inning. After Cory Gall drove in the game’s first run, Bryce Bastien drilled a two-run triple.  Jared Green singled in another run as the Saints went up 4-0. Maryville took advantage of RMU’s fielding miscues to score two runs in the fourth, and Maryville extended its lead with three scores in the fifth.
