UIS Spring Invitational Day One results

After the first day of action at the UIS Spring Invitational, the Maryville men’s golf team is tied for eighth place with a score of 313. The tourney is being hosted at Pekin Country Club in Pekin, Ill., by the University of Illinois Springfield.
 
Michael Fowler leads the Saints and is tied for 14th overall after shooting a 76, as he shot a 37 going out. Alex Doneff is tied for 25hth with a 78, while Dustin Harris snuck under 80 with a first-round score of 79.
 
The tournament finishes Monday with an 18-hole round beginning at 9 a.m.
