LeTourneau Women's Tennis Results

In its season opener, the Maryville women’s tennis team was edged 5-4 by LeTourneau in a match played in Belleville, Ill.

Chelsea Travis and Nicole Kaltwasser teamed up to record a 9-7 doubles victory to put the Saints on the scoreboard. However, Maryville was unable to take another doubles match. Travis rallied to take the point at No. 1 singles as she posted a 6-7 (9-7), 6-4, 6-2 win. Lauren Land and Nicole Kaltwasser swept their matches at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. The Saints were looking for one more point to win the match, but LeTourneau prevailed in the remaining two singles matches.
