Early Bird Tournament Results

Kayla Eckelkamp claimed individual medalist honors at the Early Bird Tournament and the Maryville women’s golf squad finished third at Paradise Point Country Club in Smithville, Mo.

Windy conditions were the order of the day but Eckelkamp was one of just two golfers to break 80 as she fired a tournament-best 79 on the final day to ease to a four-shot win . Samantha Keller carded a two-day total of 173 to finish seventh overall, while Kelly Gould and Mycah Hudson both registered top 20 finishes for the Saints.

As a team, Maryville just missed finishing second to Northwest Missouri State by one stroke with a team total of 692. Missouri Western took home the team trophy with a score of 683.
