Maryville University Athletics

Donnell Walker won the 285 classification as the Maryville wrestling team opened the 2013 season at the University of Central Missouri Open.
 
Walker opened his day with a fall and then posted a 10-2 major decision. He recorded another fall, at the 2:30 mark, then posted yet another major decision by a 14-4 count in the semifinals. In the title match, Walker defeated Gabi Musallam of Missouri Valley 6-5 to claim first place for the Saints.
