Provide high quality, accessible, comprehensive and compassionate healthcare for Maryville student-athletes.
The sports medicine team is comprised of our team physician and athletic training staff. The sports medicine team works collaboratively with department strength and conditioning staff, Health and Wellness staff, and Counseling Center staff to provide a holistic multidisciplinary approach to manage the health, safety, and performance of Maryville student-athletes and to optimize the student-athlete experience at Maryville University.Â
Maryville University maintains three sports medicine facilities to meet student-athletes’ needs. Facilities are located in the Simon Athletic Center, Maryville Athletic Complex, and Maryville University Hockey Center (MUHC). The Saints’ sports medicine facilities are staffed by seven certified athletic trainers, all licensed healthcare providers in the state of Missouri and certified nationally. Each facility is purposed with equipment specifically for the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
