Nick Burghardt won the 184-pound classification at the third annual Maryville Kaufman/Brand Open Saturday. He won by tech fall 17-2 to open his day over Esteban Rua of Missouri Baptist and recorded a pin at the 5:08 mark in his second match. In the finals, Burghardt recorded a 6-4 decision over Jake Tindle of SIU Edwardsville to pick up the first-place finish for the Saints.
