Freshman Keenan Hagerty became Maryville's first wrestling All-American last week at the National Championship. He advanced to the finals of the 149-pound division by dominating Grand Canyon’s Bobby Ward 7-1 in the semifinals.

Hagerty came up just one point short of winning Maryville’s first NCAA Division II National Championship in wrestling as he fell 5-4 in the championship match. Hagerty capped off an outstanding freshman campaign with a 30-5 record this season.
