Matt Bearley scored the game-winning goal as the men's soccer team won its Great Lakes Valley Conference opener Friday, Sept. 7, against McKendree. After the Bearcats tied the game 1-1, Bearley collected a pass, and after his initial shot was blocked, calmly tracked down the ball and slid it into the net for the winner.
