Christian Kjaersgaard recorded back-to-back shutouts as the Saints went 1-0-1 in two road games. At Illinois Springfield, he faced 10 shots and made two saves as the Saints and Prairie Stars battled to a double overtime scoreless draw. In Lebanon, Kjaersgaard faced a barrage of 28 shots and made 11 saves, including one on a penalty kick, as the Saints defeated McKendree 3-0. Over 200 minutes of action in the nets, he faced a total of 38 shots, recorded 13 saves and did not allow a goal. With the two clean sheets, Kjaersgaard broke the record for shutouts in a season with six. His efforts have helped the Saints record six wins this season, the most since joining the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
