Dimitri Willis won the 165 Gold Division at the Joe Parisi Open hosted by Lindenwood featuring wins over two Division I wrestlers. He began his day with a 10-3 decision over Lucas Schmit of Purdue. Willis followed with a pin over Lindenwood’s Alejandro Wajner, then recorded another fall in the semis over Daniel Lewis of Missouri. He took the title in his weight class when his opponent was unable to continue in the championship match.
