Ryan Beltz won his 197-weight classification and helped the Saints win the team title at the Midwest Classic. He began his day with a 13-5 major decision, and followed up with a 4-3 win in the quarterfinals over Cody Brundage of Newberry. In the semis, Beltz won via a 17-0 tech fall to reach the finals. In the championship match, he downed Wisconsin-Parkside’s Josh Anthony by a 4-3 decision.
