Laura Welling recorded a career-high 14 kills to pace the Saints to a 3-1 victory over Drury. The freshman finished with 14 kills and hit .265 as Maryville recorded its first GLVC victory of the season. The next day, Welling followed up with 13 kills while hitting .333 against West Division leaders Missouri S&T. For the week, she had 27 kills, six digs and one block.
