Ali Ringering scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds to pace the women’s basketball team to an 80-78 win at Truman State in the opening round of the GLVC Tournament. She hit three 3-pointers, five free throws and completed a critical three-point play in the last minute to key the upset. Ringering’s efforts helped the Saints win the game at the buzzer and advance to the tourney quarterfinals in Evansville, Ind.
