Nate Rodriguez won the national championship in the 141 classification with a thrilling 6-5 decision over the defending champ Darren Wynn. Trailing 4-3, Rodriguez tied the match with an escape, and he had the winning takedown with 26 seconds remaining in the title match. He became Maryville’s second national champion in program history.
