Helgi Jonsson scored both game-winning goals last week to help the Saints men’s soccer team clinch a berth into the 2017 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament. At UMSL, he scored the winner in the third minute of play and assisted on the goal that clinched the road victory. Jonsson again had the early game winner as he struck 93 seconds into the contest at McKendree. He also picked up an assist on the goal that put the win away.
