Wrestler James Krischke rolled to the championship in the 149-pound classification at the Midwest Classic. He posted a 4-0 mark which included a win over the No. 9 ranked wrestler in the weight class. Krischke recorded a pin at the 6:27 mark and followed with a 6-5 decision in the quarterfinals. He won in SV-1 in the semifinals with a 3-1 decision and took first place with a 6-3 victory in the championship match.
