Jake Newman led the men’s golf team to a third-place finish at the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational. He carded rounds of 71 and a team tournament-best 70 to finish in a tie for sixth place with a total of 141 in a field of 102 players. The team was just three shots behind the team champion out of 18 competing teams.
