Djurre Hoeksema was the overall winner at the Illinois College Invitational in Jacksonville, Ill. He covered the 8K distance in 20:04.95 to best the field of 50 runners. Hoeksema helped the Saints claim the team title, defeating six other teams. He averaged 5:27 per mile and won the race by nearly seven seconds.
