Toney helped the Saints build onto the best start in school history with two wins. For the week, he averaged 18.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.5 assists and three steals and hit all nine free throw attempts.
In Maryville’s first ever win over Missouri-St. Louis in 14 games, Toney scored a career-high 30 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 72-65 overtime road win. He hit 9-of-18 shots from the field, 4-of-8 from 3-point range and all eight free throw attempts.
Against Robert Morris-Springfield, Toney had a strong all-around game with seven points, four rebounds, six assists and a season-high four steals in a 66-54 win.
