Gerald Shaw helped the Saints win two games last week by averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists while shooting a sparking 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from the field, including 66.7 percent (8-of-12) from 3-point range.
Against Illinois Springfield, Shaw finished with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including hitting four of seven shots from beyond the arc. He also handed out four assists without committing a turnover and chipped in two rebounds. Shaw followed up with 15 points at Quincy on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including converting 4-of-5 from 3-point range, to go along with four rebounds and three assists.
His efforts helped the Saints record their 18th win of the season, the most by a Maryville team since the 2005-06 season, and tied for the second highest in program history.
