2015 NWCA National Duals final bracket
The Maryville wrestling team, ranked No. 2 in the nation, rallied by taking the final two matches to edge No. 1 Notre Dame 16-15 to win the Division II finals of the 2015 National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals in Fort Wayne, Ind. Trailing 15-9, Ryan Beltz recorded a 12-4 major decision, and Donnell Walker won the final match of the tournament 4-1 to give the Saints the tournament victory
"We are extremely proud of our team's outstanding performance at the NWCA Nationals Dual," Maryville head wrestling coach Mike Denney said. "Winning this championship took a total team effort. It was one of the most exciting championships I have been part of in my coaching career! We are pleased to be able to bring home a national championship for Maryville University."
In the Division II championship match, Jaret Singh got the Saints off to a quick start as he posted an 8-6 sudden victory overtime win. Notre Dame bounced back to win two straight matches before Keenan Hagerty proved why he is the top-ranked wrestler at 149 with a 7-3 win. Dimitri Willis rallied for a 9-7 victory at 165 to keep the Saints tied 9-9 with the top-ranked team. Notre Dame won two straight to pull ahead 15-9 before the Saints posted a stirring comeback. Beltz piled up the points as he posted a key major decision 12-4 at 197 to cut the gap to 15-13. The extra point would prove to be pivotal heading to the final match of the day. Donnell Walker fell behind 1-0 but bounced back with a late takedown in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. He added two more points in the final period to boost the Saints to the victory over No. 1 Notre Dame.

To reach the championship match, the Saints downed No. 7 St. Cloud State in the semifinals. The Saints dropped the first two matches but James Krischke posted a 3-2 victory at 141 to get Maryville on the scoreboard. Hagerty made it two straight for the Saints as he picked up a 7-5 win at 149. Willis recorded a one-point win, and Zeb Wahle dominated in a 10-3 victory. Nick Burghardt shutout his foe at 184, and Ryan Beltz gave the Saints the final cushion with a 4-3 win at 197.
