Lindenwood Dual results

The No. 13 Maryville wrestling team made the short trek to future Great Lakes Valley Conference foe looking to topple No. 6 Lindenwood but the Lions turned the Saints back 29-6. Tyler Harrington and Logan Radik picked up victories for the Saints.

The Lions picked up close wins in the first five weight classes to take the early lead. The Saints lost two matches by two points, one in sudden victory and a third by three points. In a battle of top-10 ranked wrestlers at 165, Harrington rallied for a thrilling win. He trailed but recorded a takedown and a near-fall to emerge with a 9-4 victory.

The Saints came up short in the next three weight classes but Radik came through in the heavyweight division. He recorded two takedowns, had an escape and recorded his final point via riding time for a 6-2 win.

Maryville is back at home in Moloney Arena Sunday, Feb. 10, as the Saints host the Dr. Lombardi Duals.
