Bri Laster notched her 14th goal of the year as the Maryville women's lacrosse team closed out its inaugural season of play at McKendree Sunday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill. The Bearcats scored the first 13 goals of the game before Laster put the Saints on the scoreboard. McKendree scored six goals in the second half and closed out the 19-1 victory.

Brianna Bravo scooped up a ground ball and drove down the right side of the field. She drew a yellow card on a McKendree defender to give the Saints a man-up advantage. On the restart, Laster curled around the McKendree goal and fired in a low shot.Â

Diana Moreno grabbed a team-high four ground balls.
Maryville closes out its first season of play with a record of 2-13, 1-11 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Bearcats improve to 10-6, 9-3 in the GLIAC. The Saints graduate just one player off this season's roster heading into the 2020 season.
