The Maryville men's wrestling team dominated Ouachita Baptist 40-3 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match Saturday in Arkadelphia, Ark. The Saints won nine of the 10 matches to cruise to the win, including two falls, two majors and one tech fall.
Tyler Kreith won the 125 match via forfeit, and Anthony Pisciotta cruised at 133 in a 16-1 tech fall at 3:36. Alex Waggoner recorded a 7-3 win in the 141 class, while Bryce Raphael eased to a 13-1 major at 149.
At 157, Tanner Sparks posted an 8-1 decision, while Tyler Harrington had one of the quickest falls of the season as he pinned his 165 opponent in just 21 seconds. Bret Heil made it back-to-back falls as he notched his pin in 1:09 to take his 174 classification contest.
Joey Williams claimed the day's second major with a 19-5 triumph at 184. Logan Radik closed the competition with a 5-3 decision in the heavyweights.
The Saints are back at home Wednesday, Feb. 5, as they host Indianapolis for a GLVC dual starting at 7 p.m. in Moloney Arena.
