The Maryville men's tennis team hosted the University of Missouri-St. Louis but saw the visitors emerge with a 6-1 decision Saturday afternoon. The match was held at the Maryville Athletic Complex.

Bodin Aleksic and
Tom Schmitt teamed up to take the No. 3 doubles match 6-4 but the Tritons won the other two matches to take the doubles point.
Jack Beuttell-Triggs and
Sebastian Trigosso had their No. 2 match tied at 4-all but UMSL won the last two games.

In singles action, Triggs battled to a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 3 but was the only Maryville player to take a point. Trigosso extended his contest at No. 6 to a third set but was unable to prevail.

The Saints slip to 3-3 on the season. Maryville is next in action Saturday, April 3, with a contest at Lindenwood.
