St. Louis - The Maryville men's tennis team won the doubles point against McKendree Friday at Dwight Davis Tennis Center but saw the Bearcats rally in singles play for a 6-1 win.
 
At doubles No. 1, Juan Segura and Sebastian Trigosso posted a 6-2 victory. Bodin Aleksic and Jack Beuttell-Triggs posted a 6-3 win at No. 2 and locked up the first point of the match. However, McKendree swept all six singles matches to win the contest. Trigosso forced a superset tiebreak at No. 5 singles but lost an 11-9 decision. Schmitt did the same but was tripped up 10-5.
