McKendree Recap
The Maryville women's lacrosse team battled in the first half against McKendree and only trailed by five at the break. However, the Bearcats used a big burst after intermission to down the Saints 22-5.
Skyler Jolie and
Claire Martin both tallied two goals apiece, while
Ronnie Skorcz contributed two assists.

What Happened
The Saints took the lead five minutes into the game when
Lexi Taylor forced a turnover, which led to Jolie firing in the first score and a 1-0 Maryville margin. The Bearcats took the lead with a 4-0 burst before Taylor pulled the Saints to 4-2. McKendree built a 6-2 edge until the Saints scored three of the next four goals. Jolie tallied her second of the game with Maryville a man-up. Martin found the back of the net twice in a two-minute span to pull the Saints to 7-5 at the 4:01 mark of the first half. McKendree scored the final three goals of the half to take a 10-5 edge into intermission.

In the second half, the Bearcat offense came to life with six goals in the first nine minutes after the break. The Saints were limited to four shots in the second half and would not find the back of the McKendree net.
