St. Louis – The Maryville women's lacrosse team led for most of the first half but McKendree rallied for a 19-9 decision Sunday afternoon.
Jessie Hynes scored four times, while
Ronnie Skorcz had three assists and six draw controls.

Julia Banfield found the back of the net to tie the game at the 8:47 mark.
Reagan Rukstad and
Claire Martin followed with scores as the Saints build a 4-2 lead. Maryville led 5-3 after Hynes' goal to end the third. She opened the second quarter with a goal as the Saints went up by three. Hynes tallied a man-down goal as Maryville's margin was 8-5 with five minutes before halftime. However, the Bearcats closed the quarter on a 5-0 run to take a 10-8 lead at the break.

McKendree opened the third quarter with four straight goals to push out its advantage. The Saints finally tallied later in the quarter to make it 14-9 but the Bearcats kept Maryville off the scoreboard in the fourth.
