The Maryville women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Missouri Western Tuesday in a contest played indoors at Vetta Sunset.
The Griffons won all three of the doubles matches to take the first point of the match.
Nicole Pafundi and
Maria Gouveia pushed their match at No. 3 to the distance but MWSU prevailed. In singles action, Pafundi was the lone Saint to win her match. She prevailed at No. 6 in a 6-1, 6-3 decision.
The Saints are next slated to play Southwestern College in a neutral site match Saturday, March 26, in Fulton, Mo.
