Game Two Recap
Again the Prairie Stars scored early in the first with a pair of runs on an RBI double to left-center. Taylor Shingler tripled in the bottom half of the first and scored on Swinney's RBI single up the middle to cut the lead in half.

Now trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Swinney got a rally started with a one-out single before stealing second base. Emersen Heron walked and Erin Sammelmann singled to load the bases before a hit-by-pitch from Mandi Lenon cut the lead in half. With a chance to take the lead with a two-out hit, Taylor Duff stepped in and crushed a go-ahead grand slam to put the Saints ahead 6-3.

UIS got a run back in the fifth, but the Saints answered in the bottom with three more runs on RBI from Shingler and Corona. In the sixth, they extended their lead to 12-6 with three more runs on two hits and an error.

After Reagan Smith's solid 5.1 innings of work in which she allowed just one earned run, Heron came in from the bullpen and closed out the Prairie Stars to give the Saints their third GLVC victory of the season.
