Helen Bae was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II National Offensive Player of the Week as selected April 25, 2023. She is the second Saint to earn the honor this year as
Sydney Tiemann has twice earned the award. Earlier this week, Bae was tabbed the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Bae scored a career-high 10 goals against Rockhurst, the second most in program history. She became only the third player in Division II to reach double digits in goals this season. Bae's output helped the Saints set a new program record for goals in a game with 26. She added one assist and finished the game with 11 points total on the day. Bae is the second player in program history to reach double digits points in a game. In addition, she added nine draw controls, chipped in two ground balls and one caused turnover.
The Saints completed the most successful regular season in program history with a 16-1 record. Maryville is ranked No. 7 in the Nike/ USA Lacrosse and No. 11 in the IWLCA top 25 polls this week. The Saints earned the second seed for the GLVC Tournament and face No. 3 seed Rockhurst Friday, April 28, at 6 pm CT / 7 pm ET at Key Stadium on the campus of the University of Indianapolis. If the Saints advance, the championship game is slated for Sunday, April 30, at 11 a.m CT / Noon ET.
