Chloe Elliott and
Jessie Hynes fired in four goals apiece as the No. 6 Maryville women's lacrosse team rolled past Rockhurst 20-6 Friday afternoon in Kansas City. The victory is the 13th straight for the Saints, to tie the program record for longest winning streak in program history. Hynes tacked on two assists for six points in the contest.
Helen Bae went over the 100-goal mark for her career with a hat trick, and
Natalie Tomljenovic also recorded three goals.
Rockhurst recap
The Saints were up 3-2 before reeling off five straight goals. Hynes started the burst, and Bae recorded the 100th goal of her career. Up 5-2 entering the second, the Saints tallied nine of 10 scores in the quarter.
Reagan Rukstad potted back-to-back scores, and Elliott made it 8-2. Rockhurst pulled one score back before the Saints closed the quarter with six straight goals.
Sydney Tiemann and Tomljenovic tallied twice to lead the spree for a 14-3 advantage at halftime.

Hynes opened the third quarter with a goal. After an RU score, Bae and Elliott answered for Maryville and a 17-4 advantage after 45 minutes. The Saints sealed the win with three goals in the fourth quarter.
