Maryville controlled long stretches of the match with 10 shots, placing eight shots on goal to Frostburg's seven. The Saints kept pressure on Frostburg goalkeeper
Zoe Barnes, who tallied eight saves to keep Maryville off the board.

Delanie Winkelmann led Maryville with three shots, including two on goal.
Consuelo Torres Moore added a spark off the bench, recording two on-frame attempts in 34 minutes of action.
Denise Van der Spuy also generated key chances and handled all three of the Saints' penalty corners.

Dorothy Fife came up with a crucial third-quarter defensive save in the 40th minute to preserve the scoreless tie. Cox anchored the back line with five saves in more than 68 minutes of play. The Monday afternoon contest was the season finale for the Saints. Maryville closes its most successful season in program history with eight wins in the campaign and the first winning season.
