INDIANAPOLIS - Maryville University junior defender Dorothy Fife has been selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Defensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for games through March 23, as announced by the league office Monday.
 
Fife recorded a career-high five caused turnovers in a 10-5 win at No. 16 Grand Valley State. She helped the Maryville defense hold GVSU to a season-low tying five goals. Fife also snared four ground balls.
The defender picked up her first point of the season when she recorded an assist on the offensive attack.
 
Fife and the Saints start a two-game road swing as they head to Lee University Saturday, March 29, in Cleveland, Tenn.
