NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. - The Maryville women's lacrosse team garnered a pair of academic honors as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. The Saints were selected as a 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. Additionally, nine Maryville student-athletes were chosen for the IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll.

To qualify for the team award, a women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team grade point average for the academic year. The Saints posted a team GPA of 3.61, earned the Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic Award and saw 23 individuals earn Academic All-GLVC honors. Garnering the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll were

Tia Sansone,
Anna Schamens and
Marissa Zeno. Individuals must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have recorded a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.

The Saints had another record-breaking season in 2025 with a school-record 19 victories and their first GLVC tournament title. Maryville earned its third straight NCAA Division II Tournament appearance and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 tourney.
