Women's Lacrosse Ranked Sixth in IWLCA Preseason Poll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Maryville University women's lacrosse team is ranked sixth in the 2026 preseason Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II top 25 poll. The Saints are the defending Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) regular-season and tournament champions and earned their third straight bid to the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

The Saints return five IWLCA All-Americans, including first-team All-American and GLVC Attacker of the Year Helen Bae, who had 72 goals and 25 assists last year. In addition, back for Maryville are second-team All-Americans Haley Ritchie and Marissa Zeno, as well as third-team selection Natalie Tomljenovic.

Maryville, which went 19-2 last year, begins its 2026 season Friday, Feb. 13, with a noon game against No. 25 Alabama-Huntsville at the Maryville Athletic Complex. The Saints take on a challenging schedule this season and are slated to face No. 1 Tampa, No. 3 Florida Southern, fellow GLVC foe No. 5 Indianapolis, No. 13 Regis and No. 18 Grand Valley State.
