Helen Bae has been selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for games through Feb. 22, as announced by the league office.
Bae posted seven goals and five assists for 12 points in a pair of road victories. She added 20 draw controls, eight ground balls and one caused turnover. Bae started her week with four goals and two assists in a 17-9 victory at No. 14 Regis University. She snared 13 draw controls, tied for the fourth most in a game at Maryville. During the contest, she became Maryville's all-time leader in points scored with 273, surpassing the 268 by Sydney Tiemann. Bae followed up with three goals and three assists to pace the attack in a 13-9 win at UC Colorado Springs. She chipped in seven more draw controls to go along with four ground balls.
Bae and the Saints take a small break with their next game slated for Sunday, March 8, in a matchup against nationally-ranked Grand Valley State.
