Box Score LIBERTY, MO.  – The No. 9 Maryville women's lacrosse squad sprinted out to a 9-1 lead in the first quarter and coasted to a 21-3 victory at William Jewell Friday afternoon.
Paige Murphy led the Saints with seven goals, while
Helen Bae and
Natalie Tomljenovic both recorded at least three goals apiece. Maryville has scored at least 20 goals in four straight games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bae struck for the opening goal just 54 ticks into the contest, and Murphy made it 2-0 two minutes later. One by Tomljenovic and another strike by Murphy made it 4-0. The Cardinals scored on a free-position chance to make it 4-1 but the Saints responded with five straight to end the quarter.
Mady Richert powered in a player-up chance, and
Devyn Dimovitz fired in a score. Tomljenovic struck for her second, while Murphy closed out a first-quarter hat trick. Bae's goal made it 9-1 after the first 15 minutes.

Emmery Clark started the second quarter with a goal, and Murphy tacked on another. Dimovitz struck for another before Bae flipped in two straight goals for her third and fourth on the day. A late tally by Tomljenovic made it 15-1 at halftime.

The Cardinals scored to open the third quarter but the Saints tacked on four more goals.
Lilly Johnson sandwiched a pair of scores around one by
Libby Knapp to make it 19-2. The Saints cruised in the fourth quarter to win their fourth straight contest.
