KANSAS CITY, MO.  –
Devyn Dimovitz tied her career high with five goals as the No. 9 Maryville women's lacrosse squad closed out the Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season with a 19-7 victory at No. 24 Rockhurst.
Paige Murphy finished with five goals and three assists, while
Helen Bae recorded four hits and three assists. Freshman
Mady Richert dished out a season-best four assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bae began the scoring early in the first, and Dimovitz tacked on a second. Bae tacked on a late goal as the Saints built a 3-0 edge after the first quarter. Murphy notched a free-position goal to extend the margin to 4-0. The Hawks finally got on the scoreboard with back-to-back goals. Maryville answered with the last five goals before halftime.
Natalie Tomljenovic sparked the run, and Dimovitz followed with a score. Murphy and Richert picked up goals, and Tomljenovic made it 9-2 at the break.

The Saints opened the third with Dimovitz and Richert found the back of the next for an 11-2 cushion. Rockhurst made a run and trimmed the gap to 12-5 before the Saints responded with three straight.
Jada Crispin fired in a goal, with Murphy and Dimovitz following up with scores to build a double-digit lead. The Saints put the game away by scoring the first three goals in the fourth and cruised.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Saints have earned the No. 2 seed for the 2026 GLVC Tournament and will face No. 3 seed Rockhurst again Friday, May 1, in a semifinal game at Key Stadium on the campus of the University of Indianapolis.
