NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. - For the second time this season, Maryville University junior
Paige Murphy has earned a weekly national award. She was chosen the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Offensive Player of the Week for games through April 26, 2026. Earlier this week, she was selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Offensive Player of the Week.
Murphy poured in eight goals, her second highest total of the season, and one assist for nine points in a road win at William Jewell. She tacked on five draw controls with one ground ball and one caused turnover. Murphy tallied six goals and tied her season high with three assists for nine points in a victory at No. 24 Rockhurst. She added on three draw controls, three ground balls and one CT.
Murphy's goal total stands at 90, which is the third most in program history, and has surpassed the 100-point mark this season with 106. The Saints are next in action with a GLVC Tournament semifinal game Friday, May 1, against Rockhurst to be played at Key Stadium on the campus of the University of Indianapolis.
