The Maryville University women's lacrosse team picked up a raft of postseason awards that were announced.
Helen Bae,
Paige Murphy and
Haley Ritchie were selected as All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine. In addition, Bae,
Dorothy Fife, Murphy and
Natalie Tomljenovic were First-Team All-Midwest Region choices by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, while Ritchie and
Kylie Pettus were named to the IWLCA All-Region second team.

Murphy, who was the unanimous pick as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Attacker of the Year, was a first-team All-American selection and leads the nation in goals with 102 and is second in goals per game at 5.37. She recently became the first player in NCAA Division I or Division II history to score at least 100 goals in three seasons.

Bae, who has become Maryville's all-time leader in goals scored and total points, earned second-team All-American honors and ranks 12th in the nation in points per game at 5.37. She has 60 goals on the season and leads the team with 42 assists and 100 draw controls. Ritchie has helped lead a defense that ranks 14th in the country in goals allowed at just 8.37. She has recorded 24 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers to earn All-American Honorable Mention recognition.

Fife has been one of the foundations of a team that only gave up 40 goals in seven conference games this season, including the program's first shutout. She is second on the team with 24 caused turnovers and leads the Saints non-goalies with 34 ground balls.

Tomljenovic is third on the team with 43 goals and 21 assists and ranks third on the team with 64 points. Pettus has been an outstanding all-around player with 18 goals, four assists, 55 draw controls and 27 ground balls.

The Saints, who are ranked eighth in the country, are next in action Saturday, May 16, with a 12 p.m. CT / 1 p.m. ET NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal game at Indianapolis.
