ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2021-22: Chase is a leader on and off the mat for us. He had a tremendous year but he is hungry to prove he can do more. He gained valuable experience his first two years as a varsity wrestler. With his focus, dedication, commitment and work power he can be a force in Division II Wrestling. Maryville Outstanding Wrestler, Most Improved, Outstanding Redshirt Freshman, 20 Match Winner, 2X NWCA Scholar All-American, Dr. Lombardi Saint Award, GLVC All-Conference, NCAA DII National Qualifier, 2X Varsity Letter Award, 2X GLVC All-Academic, GLVC Wrestler of the Week, and DII Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Chase is a “Positive Force” for us. “The Best is definitely Yet to Come for him.”
2020-21(COVID Shortened Season): As a true Freshman starter for us Chase received the following awards; Scholar Award winner, Outstanding Freshman, Most Major Decisions, Most Dominate, NWCA Scholar All-American, NWCA DII All-Academic National Team Champions, Dr. Lombardi Saint Award, GLVC All-Conference, Varsity Letter Award, GLVC Academic All-Conference. Chase was a big part in helping the team win its 4th consecutive NWCA DII All-Academic Team National Championship. “The Best Is Yet Come” for Chase. He made an immediate impact on our team, and will make an impact in NCAA DII Wrestling in the future. He definitely makes our Dojo a "Better Place." He is one of the top young wrestlers in DII. He is a “Leader by Example!”

Chase joins his brother, Tyler, on the Maryville wrestling team. They become the 32nd set of brothers that Coach Denney has coached in his 51 years of coaching.
