2012-2013 Season: Finished 10-18 going 1-6 in duals…was named NCAA Division II Academic All-American Honorable Mention…placed fourth at Missouri Valley Invitational helping Saints to first-ever team tournament championship…his pin of McKendree’s Dylon Viglasky in 1:57, was big in Maryville’s 25-13 dual win…went 1-2 at NCAA Super Region Three Tournament…was Maryvilles Wrestler of the Week for his performance at Missouri Valley Invitational and McKendree dual also won team’s OOOSSS Award for both matches…won Maryville Wrestling Scholar Award for juniors  with a 3.19 GPA…team’s Rebounding Power Award Winner…also earned his second letter for the wrestling Saints.
