Drew Stevens has been coaching the hurdles at Maryville since the spring of 2015. Additionally, Dr. Drew is a full-time instructor in the John E. Simon School of Business focus specifically in research, writing and instruction in the fields of marketing and management.
Prior to joining Maryvillle University Drew Stevens was the founder and coordinator of the Rockwood track and field program in St. Louis County Missouri. He is also the former head track coach at Franklin high school in Somerset County New Jersey.Â
Dr. Drew received his start in track and field as a high school standout holding seven school records upon graduation in the sprints and hurdles; several still standing 30 years later. He went on to a very successful track career at Rutgers University in New Brunswick New Jersey and then successfully trained several NCAA and Olympic participants.
