Frank Logan has been coaching the sprints and jumps at Maryville since the Winter of 2014. During coach Logan's tenure at Maryville University, the track & field teams have seen constant improvement. There have been over 10 school records broken in the short time he has coached the sprints and jumps. In 2015, he oversaw the training of then freshman high jumper, Ellen Foster, to a national qualifying mark and individual conference championship in the high jump.

Prior to coming to Maryville, Logan served as a volunteer assistant for the track & field programs at The University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, he coached and mentored several national qualifiers, which included NCAA All-Americans Ricky Robertson, who was a Seven Time SEC Champion in High Jump, (High Jump and Triple Jump), Asia Cooper (60 meters), Mike Granger (100 meters) and eventual Olympian Isaiah Young (100 and 200 meters). Logan also mentored Rachel Jenkins who was the 2012 SEC Outdoor Champion as well as several SEC scorers. Logan was also a part of a team that saw Ole Miss bring in a wealth of talent in their 2013 recruiting class, which included Jalen Miller who became the school record holder in the 60-meter dash (6.54).
Joe Walker Jr., Greg Stringer and Brian O’Neal mentored Logan. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Homeland Security and a Minor in Education in 2014 from the University of Mississippi.
