Jeremy McDowell joined the Maryville softball coaching staff in 2025 as a volunteer assistant coach, primarily focused on assisting in recruiting efforts. 

McDowell is the owner and co-founder of Top Gun Events, a recruiting platform centered around youth sports. He previously spent time as a the Vice President of the USSSA Fastpitch organization, helping grow it to the No. 1 association in the country.

A longtime contributor to the softball landscape in Missouri, he was named USSSA State Director of the Year in 2009 and was named to the Kansas City, Mo. 25 Under 25 list.
