Kayleigh Beymer-Swan enters her second year as assistant coach for Maryville softball.
Beymer-Swan oversees all pitching for the Saints. In her first season she coached the team to an ERA of 3.89 with a WHIP of 1.47. She mentored senior Chase Ramey and freshman Core Boyle to All-GLVC selections, with Ramey to career high numbers in ERA and batting average against.
Behymer-Swan comes to the Saints after working as the Head Softball Coach at the University of Saint Mary out of Leavenworth, Kan. With the Spires, Behymer-Swan garnered a 30-21 record including a 18-8 conference mark, setting the school conference win record in the process. During her time the Spires collected multiple All-KCAC honorees.
Prior to the Spires, she spent time working on the coaching staff at Baker University, helping Baker to 16 All-Conference players and a NAIA All-American during her time.
As a player at Avila University, Behymer-Swan was named a Heart of America First Team All-Conference pitcher in 2017 and 2019. She holds 18 of the 23 different pitching records at the university. Behymer-Swan also helped her team to a Heart Conference tournament championship in 2017 and a regular season championship in 2019.
