Meghan Lamberth

St. Louis-native Meghan Lamberth begins her third season as an assistant coach at Maryville University for the 2019 season. Over the past two seasons, Lamberth has guided two pitchers to achieve first and second team all conference honors, respectively. Most recently during the 2018 season, the Saints pitching staff coached by Lamberth complied a 2.91 cumulative ERA along with 217 strikeouts in 329 innings. During the 2017 season, the pitching staff held an overall 2.61 ERA with 165 strikeouts in 320 innings.

Before joining the Saints softball team, Lamberth spent two years as a graduate assistant in the department NCAA Compliance and Student Services and served as the interim director of NCAA Compliance and Student Services the summer of 2016. Lamberth graduated from Maryville in May 2016 with a Masters in Business Administration.

Prior to Maryville, Lamberth worked at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis) during the 2013-14 campaign. She served as volunteer pitching coach and oversaw four pitchers. Lamberth helped coach the Jaguars to the conference tournament semi-finals in 2014, the program's highest finish at the time.

Lamberth was a student-athlete at Northwestern University where she posted a 35-21 record as a pitcher for the Wildcats. During her senior season, she posted a 21-innning scoreless streak in the circle. As a hitter, she hit five home runs and had 23 RBI in just over 100 plate appearances. Lamberth earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012 and 2013. She went on to graduate in June of 2013 with a Bachelors Degree in Learning and Organizational Change and a minor in Psychology.

A 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School, Lamberth helped the Lancers to the 2007 Missouri 4A State Championship and a third-place finish in 2005. She was a first team All-State pitcher in 2007 and again in 2008. She also earned the Navy Distinguished Female Athlete award in 2009. Lamberth played competitive softball for the St. Louis Esprit, St. Louis Chaos, and the Kansas City Peppers.
